FestivaleThe CGU Launceston Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards program is in its seventh year. The Awards provide a unique opportunity to recognise successful businesses and organizations in Northern Tasmania that excel in their given fields. They will also highlight the vital contribution that many businesses and organizations make to the region in economic, employment and social terms.

DanceSport Tasmania

DanceSport TasmaniaDanceSport Tasmania delivers the exciting and spectacular DanceSport Open Championship event, at the Silverdome in Launceston. Australia’s top dancers hit the floor for a night of colour and competition. The event is for competitive and social dancers alike, together with their families and spectators. Guests experience the glamour and excitement of this demanding sport and are treated to the best local and national couples competing.
DanceSport Tasmania proudly promotes social, competitive and special event dancing for all to participate in and enjoy.

New Year on Royal

New Year on RoyalIf the success of Festivale is any indication, we are in for another recognised event being organised by the Festivale committee. ‘New Year on Royal’ kicks off in 2009 and is set for a night to remember and, for some, to enter 2010 in style.

Devil of a Dinner

DevilA Devil of a Dinner on Friday, 30th October 2009, saw 6 heavenly courses prepared by 7 of Tasmania’s top chefs matched with divine Tasmania wines. The event is estimated to have raised over $130,000 towards the Devil Island Project. As Diamond Sponsors we were pleased to have donated our time to this worthy cause. With the community working together we have a much better chance of going down in history as the generation that helped save the Devil from extinction.

Wheels 4 Work

WheelsWheels 4 Work is an independent committee working under the auspice of Youth Futures Inc. The program seeks to assist people in a disadvantaged situation gain the 50 hours road experience on their ‘L’ plates so they are eligible to sit their ‘P’ test. A very worthy community program, achieving great results.
